That’s a Wrap: A Holiday Exhibition of Local Handmade Gifts (2024 Exhibition)
We are inviting artists and artisans to submit an application to have their artwork and/or locally produced, handmade items showcased for sale in the Pitt Meadows Gallery from Saturday, November 16 to December 24, 2024.
That’s a Wrap will exhibit a variety of giftable artwork and fine crafts to fit everyone’s gift-giving needs and budgets. We are looking for unique, quality, handmade items in different media, such as jewelry, woodwork, fine art, fibre art, candles, bath and body products, ceramics and more.
- Submissions must include either an Art Gallery (artwork) or Gallery Shop (handmade items) Application Form.
- Submission must include an Appendix which lists up to 10 pieces of work or examples for consideration. If accepted, we may consider additional work. Appendix must include a photo, title, size, medium and price including 30% commission to the Gallery.
- All artwork must be ready to display or ready to hang.
- Preference will be given to smaller works in a variety of price ranges up to $300.
- Artists and Artisans are encouraged to replenish sold artwork and/or products throughout the exhibition.
- All products must include a label with company or artisan’s name.
- Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

Note: As we receive many applications for this exhibition, we will be approving submissions as we receive them up until the deadline.

If you're unable to submit using the above application forms, please submit a list of available work and include the following information for each piece:
- Title
- Medium
- Size
- Presentation format (framed/mat etc.)
- Price including 30% commissionAttach above noted images to your email (please make sure each image is named accordingly). You can also send images via wetransfer, dropbox etc.
We thank everyone for submitting, but only selected submissions will be contacted.
Holiday Card 2024
Do you have a festive holiday/winter themed image that would look great on a Christmas card? We are looking for submissions for our 2024 holiday card cover! No need to create something new, we’re looking for an image that you have already created, are proud of, and are ready to submit! These can be any 2D medium (photograph, painting, ink etc.) which will be used as the front cover of the City’s 2024 Holiday card.
How to submit:
• Submit ONE email to: artsandculture@pittmeadows.ca with up to four images attached to the email (NO embedded images accepted). If more than one email is sent, the first email will be the only one accepted.
• Include contact information in the email – full name, full address (including postal code), and phone number.
• Use the following in subject line: Holiday Card SubmissionSubmissions are only open to Pitt Meadows Residents. This is not a commissioned project, and compensation will be provided in-line with CARFAC recommended artist fees.
Deadline for submissions: Monday, October 6 at 11:59 pm.
Main Gallery Exhibitions 2025 - Pitt Meadows Art Gallery at South Bonson Community Centre
We are looking for creative and interesting exhibition ideas from solo artists or a collaboration of multi-artists in all mediums.
Artist responsibilities:
• Fill out an Application including Appendix A which lists available artwork (only list those pieces that will work within the space requirements
• Artist Bio, Artist Statement, High resolution images of each piece of artwork in the exhibition and image of artist
• Share marketingPitt Meadows Art Gallery (PMAG) responsibilities:
• Marketing
• Curate and display artwork in the Gallery
• Facilitate sales (Commission of 30% of sales to the Gallery)

Pop-Up Gallery Exhibitions 2025 - City Hall Lobby
We are looking for 3D and 2D artwork that will fit into the built-in display case located in the City Hall lobby.
Artist responsibilities:
• Fill out an Application including Appendix A which lists available artwork (only list those pieces that will work within the space requirements)
• Artists are responsible to determine what pieces will fit into the dimensions (listed below)
• Provide display stands (if needed) as nothing can be attached to the walls
• Set-up and take down of their artwork on the pre-specified dates (see schedule below)PMAG responsibilities:
• Labels
• Provide artist bio/information located inside the display
• Facilitate sales (Commission of 30% of sales to the Gallery)
• MarketingGlass display case specifications:
• 3 glass shelves (dimensions: 30” deep x 63.5” wide - top shelf 26.5” high / middle shelf: 20” high / lower shelf: 17” high)

Set-up and take-down dates are firm to the dates listed above. City Hall is open 8:30am – 4:30pm and set-up and takedown must be completed during this time.
