Ron Hedrick, known as a colourist, illuminist, and impressionist, focuses on capturing fleeting light and exploring the subtleties of luminosity and colour in his work. He paints on location, still life, and models, creating popular scenes such as beaches, gardens, and nostalgic snow seasons. A founding member of the Stave Falls Artist Group, Ron’s work has been represented by galleries across Canada and the U.S. and is featured in numerous corporate collections.
Robin Anderson is inspired by the beauty of her surroundings, which led her to begin painting after encountering a work by Ron Hedrick. Janis paints in oil, acrylic, oil and cold wax, also experiments with mixed media and work varies from impressionism to abstract
Jane Duford works primarily in oils in her Maple Ridge Studio. The inspirations for her paintings range from architecture to the natural landscape. She is often influenced by the open sky and spaces of the prairies where she spent her youth. She studied art at Kwantlen College, Emily Carr Institute of Drawing and Design and the Vancouver Academy of Art.
Nancy Pattullo - After years of relocating and missing the opportunity to pursue art in school, her passion for painting remained constant. A gift of oil painting lessons from her husband, with guidance from Ron Hedrick, reignited her creativity and gave her the confidence to explore her artistic potential. Influenced by artists like Cézanne, Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas, she has spent several years studying under Ron, taking workshops, and embracing the richness of oil paints.
Kerrie Stafford’s abstract-impressionistic style is fueled by intuition, emotion, and energy, creating a raw and expressive connection with the viewer. With a background as a graphic artist, she blends strong composition and colour with loose brushwork to craft personal and unique artwork. Specializing in commissioned paintings of special occasion flowers, Kerrie’s art captures timeless memories for any environment.
Gina Rubin, AFCA, is a contemporary artist whose dream-like and moody paintings inspire joy and peace. Influenced by her artistic mother, Janis Eaglesham, she has studied under various artists, including renowned mentors like Ron Hedrick and Skip Whitcomb. A founding member of the Stave Falls Artist Group, Rubin draws inspiration from her travels and donates a portion of her sales to the Chiron Fund.
