About the Artist
Liz Boulton is a local artist residing in Pitt Meadows for the past 31 years. Her art journey began at an early age where she found her passion for self-expression through creativity. When Liz was attending high school she had aspirations of becoming a fashion illustrator, however, after moving to British Columbia from Hamilton Ontario her focus became geared toward the abundant and natural beauty of BC. Nature in all forms inspires her work, and it’s been expressed that she captures the essence or soul of the animals that she paints. Her favourite medium is watercolour however she loves to try new materials.
Liz is a self-taught artist who has shown her works in local galleries, gift shops and cafes. Her passion for sharing her creativity has led her at times to be an art instructor through Michaels and other various venues.
