Tara Devine is an acrylic painter and visual artist currently located in Port Moody. She enjoys exploring the outdoors and is inspired by natural elements from her coastal and mountainous surroundings. Her paintings range from abstract to semi-abstract and often include the use of bright colors.
This series of artwork was inspired by the land, sky, and bodies of water of our local landscapes in British Columbia. Using this meditative style, positive feelings and joyfulness are imbued into the work.

Many artists dread the words, “My kid could paint that!” For Tammy Routley, it’s a compliment. She takes play seriously and sees it as essential for both children and adults.
Much of her art is in an illustrative style with bold, black outlines. She loves the magic of going from a blank, white page to a world of fantastic characters in just a few moments.
She also enjoys messing about with colour, pattern, and layers in acrylic paint, oil pastels, collages, and coloured pencils. If she needs to be neat and tidy, she works digitally, often drawing by hand and then scanning and colouring her art using GIMP and Inkscape
