Infrastructure within the City of Pitt Meadows includes, but is not limited to, the physical components of our roads, bridges, water supply, sewer, and drainage.
The City is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the City Water System (domestic & fire protection), Sanitary Sewer System, Diking and Drainage System, and Road Network. The provision of good quality drinking water, sewage treatment, solid waste collection, and drainage are everyday necessities provided to the public by the City of Pitt Meadows.

WaterThe City is responsible for delivery of quality drinking water, as well as providing water supply for fire protection. We maintain 485 fire hydrants, 489 mainline and service vales, six pressure-reducing valve (PRV) stations with two PRV's at each station, and one booster station.
