The City developed a comprehensive Transportation Master Plan to provide guidance for City investments in transportation infrastructure and programs over the next 30 years.
The Transportation Master Plan provides direction on how the City can achieve better transportation facilities for present day use and upcoming years and will be a balanced and multi-modal plan, guiding the development of the roads, transit, walking, and cycling networks. The Transportation Master Plan builds on the City's 2012 Pedestrian and Cycling Master Plan, and will be integrated with other related current studies, including a Parking Strategy and Official Community Plan Update.
During the process of developing the Plan, the City hosted public events, distributed surveys and had discussions with stakeholder groups to understand transportation issues and opportunities in Pitt Meadows, particularly related to the City's road and transit networks.
