Last year our community lit up Pitt Meadows - let's make this holiday season the brightest one yet! Submit your home at haveyoursaypittmeadows.ca starting November 12. A map listing all of the participating addresses will be available starting November 30.

 

 

Christmas @ PMAG: Art & Artisan Pop-up Shop

November 13, 2021 - January 9, 2022

Location: Pitt Meadows Art Gallery, 12492 Harris Rd, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y 2J4

Each year the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is filled with beautiful treasures perfect for those on your holiday shopping list. From art pieces to hand made goods - there is something for everyone on your list. This exhibit has been extremely popular in years past so visit early to get your pick of the items! Christmas in Pitt Meadows

Friday December 3, 5:30 - 8:30pm

Location: Spirit Square šxʷhék̓ ʷnəs (12027 Harris Road, Pitt Meadows BC)

This free outdoor holiday event is back transforming Spirit Square into a magical Christmas village! Santa will be taking photos with our community - inside a giant igloo. Food trucks, popcorn by MLA Lisa Beare, coffee & hot chocolate, and hot dogs by the Lion's Club will be available for everyone to enjoy. The holiday train is back for rides around the village. Road hockey for all abilities will be happening beside the Rec Centre. The Main Stage will feature musical entertainment, Community Service Awards and tree lighting.

Christmas Tree LightingJoin Mayor & Council as we count down and light the Christmas Tree in Spirit Square šxʷhék̓ ʷnəs!
Food Trucks & RefreshmentsFood trucks (cash & debit) and by donation hot chocolate, coffee and hot dogs will be available outside the Rec Centre. Bring you own coffee/tumbler mug. Enjoy food in our tents with heaters. (15 min. max).
Photos With Santa in the Igloo!

If you are able to donate, this activity will be accepting food bank donation items. Don’t forget to tell Santa what you want for Christmas and have your photo taken with him inside the igloo. Note: visits with Santa will be paused during the Community Service Award presentation.

Take a Ride on The Christmas TrainPick up your tickets ahead of time starting Nov. 29 - Dec. 3 at the Pitt Meadows Family Rec. Centre or onsite the night of the event at the Information booth. Tickets to ride the train are by donation with proceeds going to the Friends in Need Foodbank. 
Pop-Up Art Gallery Gift ShopView and purchase items from the exciting Holiday Gift Exhibition. A Pop-Up Shop will be taking place in the Rec Centre Multi-Purpose room for you to Christmas shop or perhaps find something great for yourself!
Road HockeyLed by our very own Meadow Ridge Female Hockey Association. The Barracudas will be there to face off against you, no matter your age or skill level – game on!
Face PaintingLocated at the entrance to the Rec Centre, have your face painted by 3 amazing masked artists.
View the Snow Sculpture!Artist Bruce Waugh will be creating another magical snow sculpture this year in Spirit Square! Bruce is known not only for his amazing work at past Christmas in Pitt Meadows events, but he is the sculptor of the VanDusen pumpkins and sand sculptures competitions all over the world.
Community Service Awards6pm @ the Main Stage, awards will be given out for Community Service, Community Service Youth,  Good Neighbour,  and the Spirit of Pitt Meadows award recognizing Outstanding Resident of the Year.

Zoom Calls with Santa

Saturday December 4, 10am - 2pm

For families that are unable to attend our outdoor Christmas in Pitt Meadows event and visit Santa in person - he is hosting ZOOM calls the next day! These registered calls are five minutes long and for Pitt Meadows residents only, one call per family, registration is required. Activity is by donation with proceeds going to the Friends in Need Food Bank.

To Register: From Nov. 12-Dec.1 register by calling 604.465.2470 or visit Pitt Meadows Family Rec Centre. Once you have registered, Santa's helpers will follow up at a later date with call in details.

 

Winter Wonderland Skate @ Pitt Meadows Arena

Wednesday December 22 & Thursday December 23

Location: Pitt Meadows Arena, 11435 Bonson Rd, Pitt Meadows, BC V3Y 2S3

The arena decks the halls for this festive annual skating event.
