The Youth Lounge

 Our objective is to create a safe place for all community members to feel welcome included to participate in recreation.

Ages: 11-18 years
Location: Pitt Meadows Family Rec Centre Youth Lounge

Youth Lounge Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday     2:30pm-8pm
Friday                                2:30pm-9:30pm
Saturday                          3pm-8pm
Sunday    Closed

Fee: Annual membership for $10 (membership with parent/guardian consent required). Parent/Guardian consent is required for all membership applications to be approved. Account creation may take place either in person at the PMFRC, or over the phone with our customer service team 604.465.2470. Parents/Guardians must complete a waiver form on behalf of the child(ren), and have their contact details added to the child’s account. This helps us serve you better by supporting your children while they are using our drop-in service, in the event of an emergency or an incident that requires your immediate awareness.

Membership includes access to the following supervised activities:
•    FREE use of Youth Lounge room equipment (billiards, foosball, table tennis).
•    FREE use of Youth Lounge video games (3 x PlayStation pods available).
•    FREE access to Youth events (Youth Week, PM Day etc. Or any specialty events which include food/drink/prizes).

BC Youth Week - May1-7
BC Youth Week is a provincial celebration of youth held annually during the first week of May. It is a week of fun-filled interaction and a celebration intended to build a strong connection between youth and their communities. This event is intended to highlight the interests, accomplishments, and diversity of youth across the province. 

Join us at the Youth Lounge at Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre between May 1-7 for a variety of FREE drop-in activities, created for youth (11-18Y).
