PITT MEADOWS, B.C. –The nomination period for mayor, councillor and school board trustee candidates has now ended and the list of candidates has been declared.
The following are running as candidates for mayor:

The following are running as candidates for City councillor:

- Owen Coomer

- Alison Evans
- Mike Hayes
- Ariane Jaschke
- Mike Manion

- Reet Singh
The following are running as candidates for school board trustee:
- Trudi Appleton
- Owen MacGregor
- James Rowley
- Terra Slade
- Don Wilson
The final declaration of election by voting or acclamation will be made on Monday, September 21 at 4:00 p.m. once the challenge period has concluded.
The Local General Elections are being held on Saturday, October 17, 2026. There are many ways to vote:
- On Election Day from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. at South Bonson Community Centre (10932 Barnston View Road), Heritage Hall (12460 Harris Road), and the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre (12027 Harris Road).
- During Advance Voting at City Hall on Tuesday, October 6, Wednesday, October 7, Thursday, October 8, and Friday, October 9.
- By Mail: Request a mail ballot package online or at City Hall during normal office hours and return it either in person or via mail no later than 8 p.m. on General Voting Day, October 17.
- Curbside Voting: During Advance Voting or on General Voting Day, voters with mobility issues can park in a designated area outside the voting place and call the phone number listed on the sign.
