Tree Management Bylaw

The City of Pitt Meadows has adopted a new Tree Management Bylaw to support the protection and growth of the community’s urban forest and long-term tree canopy goals. The Bylaw builds on the Interim Tree Management Bylaw adopted in March 2026 and feedback received through community engagement.

The new Bylaw establishes requirements for tree removal, protection, replacement and management associated with property maintenance, construction and development, while recognizing the needs of property owners and the community.
