The City of Pitt Meadows created an Economic Development Strategic Plan between 2022 and 2023 to better understand and foster local opportunities for residents and businesses.
Economic Development includes everything from expanding local job opportunities, supporting local businesses, and making Pitt Meadows more inviting to new types of business. This will help the local economy adjust to a post-COVID world and nurture our key industries.
The City sought feedback from residents and business owners and operators to inform the development of the Strategic Plan with two surveys for residents and business managers between July 18 and August 12, 2022. The feedback from the surveys was used to inform the development of the Economic Development Strategic Plan. The final report is now available here.
