Animals are humankind’s companions, sharing our homes, work and many of life’s most meaningful moments. In return for our care, they offer protection, partnership and unwavering loyalty.
Pet Portraits brings together artists across diverse mediums to celebrate our pets through their creative eyes. Artwork is displayed alongside photographs of the featured pet, offering a glimpse into the living inspiration behind each piece and inviting viewers to see both the subject and its artistic expression. Each portrait stands as a tribute to the animals who enrich our daily lives, honoured not merely as pets, but as cherished family members.
All work will be available for purchase. Inquire about commissioning a custom pet portrait by one of the featured artists.
The Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is located at the South Bonson Community Centre on the traditional territory of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) First Nation. The gallery features artwork from local and regional artists and handmade wares by local artisans.
