During my many evenings walks on the dike I often find a small area that is a magical oasis of imagery. I spotted this space from distance and I was fascinated by its beauty.

Victor was born in Romania spending his youth in Transylvania one of

the most beautiful and multicultural region of Europe close to Carpathian

Mountains. He discovered quite early his talent for painting and enrolled

himself in the School of Art in his hometown Sibiu. Although he dreamed

of becoming an artist, he pursued a career in engineering.

Victor’s love for art, combined with his education in science and

engineering were very beneficial in Victor’s case, bringing him rewards

and satisfaction on both fields. He is a passionate observer of nature,

and he is deeply connected to places around the world.

After he came to Canada in 1992, Victor continued to paint discovering the

uniqueness and beauty of Western landscape.

Presently Mr. Victor is a member of Garibaldi Art Club in Maple Ridge and

an active member of Federation of Canadian Artists, Vancouver and Fraser

Valley Chapter. He participated in group and solo shows with Garibaldi Art Club,

Federation of Canadian Artists Gallery, Act Centre. He is represented by Kube

Gallery in Fort Langley. His paintings are also housed in private collections

across Europe, North America and Asia.
