Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is excited to welcome art pieces by legendary Vancouver Canucks Goalie Richard "The King" Brodeur. Brodeur utilizes oils, acrylics, and watercolours to create abstract paintings as well as images of Canadiana landscape. His most popular series is a collection of paintings titled "My Childhood Hockey Memories" which depicts youngsters playing hockey on frozen ponds, backyard rinks, streets and back alleys all over Canada.

The Pitt Meadows Art Gallery is proud to showcase the amazing work of young artists and their exploration of a variety of themes and art mediums. The Children & Youth Art Exhibition runs until July 21 and features artwork created by local children and youth between the ages of 4-18.
This work engages children and youth and encourages skill development while cultivating art appreciation. Come and be inspired by the art created by our children and youth.

The Art of Upcycling | ‘REMAKING THE WAY WE MAKE THINGS’
Dates: April 6 - May 26, 2019
Everyday objects discarded as waste are reimagined into remarkable works of contemporary art and sculpture in The Art of Upcycling at the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery. This year’s exhibit hopes to raise awareness about excess plastic waste that ends up in the oceans. Pieces include a 2D map sewn together with recycled plastics and fabrics, beautiful jewellery hand-crafted from reclaimed plastics along the Pacific Rim shores and playful sculptures created from a variety of upcycled materials.

A Love of Landscapes

Brushstrokes come alive in an array of colours. From misty bays and green fields to moss covered rocks and fiery foliage, this exhibit features a diverse collection of natural landscapes.
