ELEMENTS is a collaboration by seven textile artists exploring, translating and incorporating the building blocks of design into tangible works of art. Under the tutelage of instructor Catherine Nicholls, the Textile Group of Seven study five elements of design - line, form, shape, colour and texture. Together, the result is a dynamic collection of work which demonstrates the diversity of interpretation, vision and technique unique to each of the seven textile artists - Susan Germain, Alecia Greenfield, Trine Henricksen, Lynn Johnson, Thelma Newbury, Janis Scholey, Katie Stein Sather.

'Together We Art' is Vicuña Art Studio's first exhibition at the Pitt Meadows Art Gallery. It features paintings, drawings, illustrations and pottery works created by Vicuña Art Studio's artists who embody many talents and diverse abilities. Art is a powerful tool to bring the community together. In 2020, our world has faced heartbreaking hardships and difficult challenges. Through the virtual exhibition 'Together We Art,' the hearts of our community members can come closer together. Vicuña wishes the viewers to see the beauty in the artwork, and to find hope and discover room for positive growth as a person and as a community.

PMAG celebrates all things artistically beautiful, unique and creative in this all Pitt Meadows resident Artist and Artisan exhibition. This unique collection will showcase a variety of mediums such as watercolours, oils, textiles, pottery, stonework and photography. The love of the light on the land strongly influences Tammy Pilon's work to creat dramatic and colourful landscapes. Her work in acrylic captures the glow of light while her work in oils lends expressive brushstrokes to her impressionist-style landscapes. In this solo exhibition, you will recognize the many iconic landscapes of Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam and Port Moody.
Tammy has been an art instructor for over 20 years in the Tri-City area and currently offers classes in all media at her Port Coquitlam studio.

Pitt Meadows Parks, Recreation and Culture department is pleased to feature the works of art from Pitt Meadows Secondary and Edith McDermott Elementary School at this year’s exhibit. Students discover their voices and visualize their dreams, aspirations, fears and hopes in this inspirational collection of work.
