Eagles in Flight

Community Mural

In 2021, the Eagles in Flight Community Mural, was vandalized. The acrylic protecting the tiles were shattered and a few of the tiles were damaged. Brad Dinwoodie wanted to maintain the original artwork as much as possible. Instead of replacing the damaged tiles, he repaired them by matching the paint to the original work as closely as possible. New acrylic sheets were installed, recoated with a UV clear-coat, overlay eagle was re-airbrushed, cement board replaced and tiles repaired. Repair and restoration was completed September 6th, 2021.
