Katzie Slough Cleanup

The Katzie Slough is a sensitive ecological habitat that needs your help to restore the essential habitat depended upon by native fish, plants, and animals.  The waste that accumulates in the waters not only harms the local ecosystem, but eventually travels to the ocean to create further issues. 

 

Clean up of the Katzie Slough is a fun and informative event held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.  Bring water and wear closed-toed shoes.  Delicious snacks and all equipment will be provided by Watershed Watch Salmon Society.  Bring your own gloves if you prefer.

The team will meet at Meadowtown Centre, 19800 Lougheed Highway, Pitt Meadows, at the Dunn Avenue Entrance by the JYSK.
