Ambulance Services
The BC Ambulance is a Provincial service administered by the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).
The primary provincial ambulance stations serving Pitt Meadows are Station 257 located in Maple Ridge, Station 266 located in Walnut Grove, Langley and Station 263 in Coquitlam/Port Coquitlam.
Pitt Meadows receives Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) and Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) response via local ground-based ambulances and Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) response via the medevac helicopter program
Search & Rescue
Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue is a volunteer society consisting of approximately 30 individuals trained to respond to emergency situations such as missing persons, as well as to provide services in the event of a natural disaster. The call-out originates from the Ridge Meadows RCMP detachment or B.C. Ambulance via a pager system.
