The 2nd Annual Trivia Night / Silent Auction will be held on Saturday May 25th at the Maple Ridge Christian Reformed Church (20245 Dewdney Trunk Rd., Maple Ridge)
- Tickets are $25 each or you can sponsor a table for $200

- Doors open at 5:30 pm and Trivia begins at 6:00 pm
The theme for this year's event is “Caring For Kids” and will focus on raising funds for the programs at The Salvation Army that provides help to hundreds of children in the Ridge Meadows Community.
Some of the services provided include:
The School Lunch Bag Program which provides nutritious bagged lunches to over 130 children each day. Last year, 24,720 lunch bags were served.
Sonia’s Cradle helps families and single parents who are within poverty level and are unable to buy everyday items for their young child, such as diapers, wipes, formula, etc. In 2018:
- 305 families were helped with baby necessities
- 188 emergency food hampers were given out
- 677 people were helped with clothing/furniture vouchers
Send a Kid to Camp that enables us to cover most of the cost to send a child or teen to camp in the summer. Over 50 children went to camp last year at Camp Sunrise in the Sunshine Coast.
Backpack Program allows us to support many families that are not able to purchase much needed school supplies and a backpack. Last year, 479 students plus many that went to camp were given backpacks and school supplies.
