This project aims to separate road and rail traffic at Harris Road. This will make local communities faster and safer, improve community connections through more reliable traffic flow and improve emergency response times.
Pitt Meadows Athletic Park Expansion Project
The City of Pitt Meadows is moving forward with planned expansion to the Pitt Meadows Athletic Park (PMAP) to help create a centralized community “sports hub.”

The City has conducted a comprehensive air quality human health risk assessment of the current and predicted 2030 exhaust emissions from Canadian Pacific (CP) rail operations in the city of Pitt Meadows.
Harris Road Complete Street Feasibility Study
The City of Pitt Meadows is exploring ways to transform Harris Road into a "Complete Street" as recommended in the City’s 2023 Active Transportation Plan, prioritizing accessibility for all ages and abilities while balancing the needs of all road users, and considering the feasibility and associated costs.
Opposition to Proposed CP Logistics Park
Pitt Meadows City Council is unanimously and strongly opposed to CP’s proposed Industrial Logistics Park. The proposed expansion will add a 100 acre CP Logistics Park adjacent to the Vancouver Intermodal Facility in Pitt Meadows and poses numerous and significant health, safety and environmental risks to our community.
