How do you register to vote?
Who is eligible to vote?
In order to vote in the upcoming election in Pitt Meadows, you must meet the following requirements:
You must be 18 years of age or older;
You must be a Canadian citizen;
You must be a resident of BC for at least 6 months immediately before voting or registering to vote;
You must be a resident of Pitt Meadows (for any length of time); and
You cannot be disqualified under the Local Government Act or any other enactment from voting in an election or be otherwise disqualified by law.
Mail Ballot Voting Information
Under the Local Government Act, eligible electors may vote by mail ballot if they prefer to vote from home rather than attend a voting place in person.
Mail ballot voting may be a convenient option for electors who are away on the advance and general voting days, have difficulty attending a voting place, or simply prefer to vote by mail.
