Pitt Meadows City Council

Pitt Meadows City Council is the local elected body responsible for governing our city and stewarding Pitt Meadows’ economic, social and environmental well-being.  City Council is made up of the Mayor and six Councillors who are elected at large for a four-year term.  The Mayor is the Chair of City Council. 

Council’s main responsibilities include establishing policies, bylaws, and strategic priorities that benefit the city, and prioritizing the establishment of programs and services that are fiscally responsible and maximize overall value for community members.

Elections and Voting

Local government elections are held every four (4) years. The next election will be Saturday, October 17, 2026.
