Experiencing painting en plein air is, to me, transcendent. Creating in nature gives space to witness my surroundings with a visceral appreciation. Feet on earth, eyes on the horizon, grounded and steady. Breathing deeply, the cleansing air. Warming sun, cooling breeze. Rustling grass, fluttering wings. Reflecting on the water. Rendering with my brush, drenched in the residue of it all. |
