Development Fees and Development Cost Charges are an important aspect of development within the City. They are collected from developers to help offset some of the costs of processing applications and servicing infrastructure and parks as a result of new development.

Amenity Cost Charges

The City of Pitt Meadows has developed an Amenity Cost Charge (ACC) program to collect funds from new developments that result in an increase in the population of residents. The collected funds may be used for the capital costs of constructing new amenities and improving existing amenities.

The current (April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027) ACC rates are outlined in the table below:

On June 25, 2024, Council adopted an Amenity Cost Charge Bylaw and updated the Residential Community Amenity Contributions (CAC) Policy.
