Updated January 23, 2026 - Please be advised that the following traffic and parking impacts are planned as part of the Heron’s Nest project. Work is weather dependent and the schedule may change.
Heron’s Nest has scheduled a concrete pour on Saturday, February 7, 2026, between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. The concrete pour requires the use of two concrete pumps operating simultaneously, which will affect traffic flow and parking in the area.
Impacts (Saturday, February 7, 2026):
Noise impacts outside regular construction hours.
Partial closure of 119B Avenue, the parking lot south of the Recreation Centre, and the lane to the east for the duration of the pour.
Closure of the school parking lot south of 119B Avenue to accommodate concrete trucks.
Minimal access will be maintained to the west half of the parking lot beside the Senior's Centre.
Possible other resident impacts.
