June 1, 2026 – Drivers travelling southbound on Golden Ears Way are advised that on Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, June 4, between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., TransLink crews will be repaving a 30-metre section of roadway near Airport Way.
To accommodate the work, southbound traffic on Golden Ears Way near Airport Way will be detoured through the Airport Way roundabout overnight. One southbound lane will remain open at all times. Northbound traffic will not be affected.
Signage and traffic control personnel will be in place to guide vehicles through the detour. Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
