The Candidate and Community Engagement Workshop is a free session for anyone thinking about running for council or simply wanting to make a more informed vote. Facilitated by local governance expert Christina Benty, this workshop cuts through the noise to give you a clear, honest picture of how local government actually works.Your vote is more powerful when you know what you're voting for. Walk away from this workshop knowing the right questions to ask candidates, what realistic expectations look like, and how to cast a vote you feel confident about.
