July 24, 2026 - Preliminary construction-related activities are currently underway for the Eagle Meadows Business Park, located on q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) First Nation Reserve No 1 (19755 and 19757 Wharf Street in Pitt Meadows). Site preparation activities will include Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) works, which includes an excavator mounted hydraulic hammer.

What to expect
Timing
- This work is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 27th, 2026, and will continue until late August 2026.
- Site Mobilization to begin the week of July 27, 2026.
- Fulltime RIC to begin first week of August.
Hours of work
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Traffic
- There are no anticipated traffic impacts related to this work.
- Road users are advised to use caution and follow direction from traffic control personnel when travelling in the project area.
Impacts
- While this work is taking place, a temporary increase of noise can be expected.
- As required, the contractor will implement mitigation measures to help address these concerns.
- Noise monitoring will be in place during this work including vibration sensors at various locations surrounding the work area.
