September 23, 2026 - šxʷhék̓ʷnəs (Spirit Square) will be closed to the public from Monday, September 28, through Tuesday, October 6, due to filming.
During this time, please note the following:
- Parking: Parking in the south parking lot will be very limited. This lot is frequently used by families for school drop-off and pickup. Parking for early curbside voting on Tuesday, October 6, will not be affected.
- Laneway access: For safety reasons, the production crew may occasionally hold vehicles travelling through the laneway between šxʷhék̓ʷnəs (Spirit Square) and the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre while filming is underway. Vehicle holds will last only a few minutes. Vehicles will be permitted to continue through as soon as it is safe to do so.
- Farmers Market: The final Farmers Market of the season, scheduled for Tuesday, September 29, will be held in Osprey Village from 2 to 6 p.m.
Please plan ahead and allow extra time for potential delays or changes to access during the filming period.
