  Indoor Activities: Kids games, crafts, cookie decorating, photos with Santa, letters to Santa, music and entertainment, tree decorating contest—vote for your favourite and the artisan market located in the lobby.

  Outdoor Activities: Holiday train, road hockey (bring your own stick), tree lighting, food vendors and hot chocolate by donation.

• Event Parking, Road Closures and Service Disruptions

  Event Parking

  Parking is limited and only available Recreation Centre underground parking lot and the Pitt Meadows Elementary school parking lot. There will be accessible parking available near the City Hall entrance for those with a SPARC BC permit. 

  Road Closures

  On Friday, December 5 from 3 - 9 p.m., the connecting road in šxʷhék̓ʷnəs (Spirit Square) from City Hall to the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre (PMFRC) will be closed. The full main south parking lot will be closed all day starting at 6 a.m. and the surface lot on the north side starting at 3pm. During the event, parking is limited and only available in the Recreation Centre underground parking lot and the Pitt Meadows Elementary school parking lot.

  We appreciate your patience and understanding.

  Temporary Closures and Service Disruptions at the Recreation Centre

  Please be advised that there will be some temporary closures and service disruptions while we get ready for the Christmas in Pitt Meadows community event. The following areas at the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre will be affected:
  •          Gymnasium - Closed December 4 and 5, reopening at 1 p.m. on December 6
  •          Fitness Centre - Closed Friday, December 5 from 3-9 p.m. 
  •          Main Lobby - Closed Friday, December 5 from 3-4 p.m.

• Vote For Your Favourite Holiday Tree

  Voting Starts December 1

  The Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre lobby will be decked out with beautiful trees for everyone to enjoy at the Christmas in Pitt Meadows event on December 5—and throughout the month of December. A voting station will be set up in the lobby, so be sure to cast your vote. The winning tree will be announced on December 22,  earning bragging rights and will be featured on our social media channels.

  Thank you to the local businesses and community organizations that have brought extra sparkle to the Recreation Centre. Drop by before December 22 and vote for your favourite!

  The City of Pitt Meadows is currently accepting applications for Artisan Market vendors at the Christmas in Pitt Meadows event. To become a vendor at the event please fill in the applications below and email it to events@pittmeadows.ca.
