City Hall
City Hall will be closed at Noon on Friday, December 24, 2021 and will re-open on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 8:30am.
City eServices are still available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at mypittmeadows.com.
The Public Works Operations Centre
The Works Yard will be closed at noon on Friday, December 24, 2021 and will re-open on Wednesday, December 29, 2021.
If you require service from the Public Works Operations Centre during regular business hours, please call 604.465.2434. For emergency after-hours service, or during the holiday closure dates, please call 604.465.2465.
Waste Pick-Up Schedule
There will be no waste pickup on Monday, January 3, 2022. Pickup will be pushed to the following day for the week of January 3 - 8, 2022. If you experience problems with pickup, please call Waste Management directly at 1-800-774-9748. The waste collection schedule is available at pittmeadows.ca/waste.
- January 5, 2022 - Holiday Waste Collection Update: Due to a scheduling error by Waste Management some pick-ups mistakenly occurred on Monday, January 3. The above schedule is now back on track. If your scheduled pick-up was missed, please contact the Works Yard at 604-465-5454 so staff can follow up. We apologize for the confusion and inconvenience.
- December 30, 2021 - Recycle & Waste Collection Cancelled: Please be advised that garbage, green waste and recycling collection in Pitt Meadows has been cancelled today due to heavy snowfall. Tomorrow (Friday, Dec 31, 2021) priority will be given to garbage collection with crews attempting to collect both Thursday and Friday routes. As a result, green waste collection will be postponed until next week. However, residents are asked to please take recycling materials back inside until your next scheduled collection day. Thank you for your understanding.
The Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre
In accordance with the Public Health Order released Dec. 22, effective Dec. 23 a full facility closure of the Recreation Centre will begin. This includes:
- Fitness Centre
- Gymnasium programs/rentals
- Group fitness
- Youth Lounge
- Registered programs
- Lobby and public washroom access
