November 12, 2024 - The flags at City buildings will be flown at half-mast to mourn the passing of the former B.C. premier John Horgan, who passed away on November 12, 2024. He served as the 36th premier of British Columbia from 2017 to 2022, and also as the leader of the British Columbia New Democratic Party from 2014 to 2022. The City of Pitt Meadows expresses its condolences during this time. The flags will remain at half-mast until sunset on the day of the funeral or memorial service (date to be determined).
