August 27, 2026 – The City will lower its flags to half-mast from Friday, September 11 to Monday, September 14 in recognition of Firefighters' National Memorial Day.
This day is designated to honour the memory of firefighters who have fallen in the line of duty. Firefighters’ National Memorial Day commemorates their courage, their selflessness and their unwavering commitment to serving our communities.
