September 24, 2026 — City of Pitt Meadows flags will be lowered to half-mast on Friday, September 25, in recognition of Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day on Sunday, September 27.
Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day honours police and peace officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while serving and protecting their communities.
Following the memorial day, flags will remain at half-mast until the morning of Thursday, October 1, in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.
