Dike trail closures near Silver Bridge and Pitt Meadows Marina (Feb 23-29)

Archived

February 12, 2024 - Transport Canada and their contractor will be removing sunken and abandoned structures and boats in the Alouette River and foreshore between the Silver Bridge and the Pitt Meadows Marina from February 23 to 29, 2024. During this period, there will be parking restrictions and limited access to the river and nearby dike trails while equipment is brought in and vessels are removed. The City and Transport Canada are requesting that any anchored vessels should be removed while this work is taking place. The contractor will endeavor to minimize disturbances to area residents.

Thank you for your patience during this time. Please avoid the work areas and obey any traffic control and closure areas while this work is being completed.

If you require any further information on the project, please do not hesitate to contact Transport Canada’s Consultant:
