Residents are reminded that municipal bylaws prohibit the sale and use of fireworks in Pitt Meadows. Firecrackers of all types are illegal in Canada. This bylaw is in place for the protection of the well-being of our community in relation to noise, vibration, illumination or any other matter that may disturb the peace and enjoyment of the public.
Fireworks may be for sale outside of the City’s jurisdiction but they are not permitted in the city for use and fines may apply per our bylaw. Bylaw and RCMP Officers will be patrolling throughout the community as well as responding to bylaw reports on Halloween night. Please have a safe and fun Halloween.
