The BC River Forecast Centre has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for Metro Vancouver due to heavy rainfall. There is no immediate risk of flooding in areas protected by dikes; however the City is advising people to use caution especially with children and pets near rivers as the water levels continues to rise and could have strong currents.
