October 2, 2026 - The City of Pitt Meadows will be replacing the pathway at Linden Grove.
The existing pathway will be removed and replaced to improve accessibility, safety, and the overall park experience.
What to expect
Timing
Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, October 5, 2026 and is expected to be completed by Friday, October 9, 2026, weather permitting.
Park closure
Linden Grove will be closed to the public from Monday, October 5 through Friday, October 9, 2026.
Linden Grove will be an active construction site during this time. For public safety, please do not enter the park or construction area while work is underway.
Construction activities will include:
- Removal of the existing pathway;
- Preparation of the pathway base;
- Installation of the replacement pathway; and
- Restoration of lawn and landscaped areas affected by construction.
Impacts
Residents near Linden Grove may experience temporary construction-related noise, equipment activity, and contractor vehicle movements during the project.
