September 1, 2026 - Beginning Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the City will replace and widen the paved pathway around the perimeter of Mitchell Park, including the west-side connection to the tennis courts.
Mitchell Park will be closed to the public for approximately two to four weeks, weather permitting. All park amenities and pathways will be inaccessible while construction is underway.
Work may result in temporary construction noise, equipment activity and contractor vehicle movements near the park. The gravel pathway through the centre of the park is not included in this project.
