Updated August 15, 2024 - The road is expected to reopen to traffic in the afternoon of Friday, August 16, 2024.
Due to emergency repairs of a culvert collapse on Ford Detour Road, there is currently single lane alternating traffic continuing until August 12, 2024.
There will be a full closure of this section of the road from August 12-15, 2024. There will be no emergency, pedestrian or vehicle access during the daytime throughout this closure; the road is planned to be reopened at night to emergency vehicles. Residents located in the closed area will be able to access their properties during the closure. Residents located on the east side of the closure will be required to use Ford Road; residents located on the west side of the closure will be required to use Kennedy Road and Ford Road Detour.
This full closure was originally scheduled for August 6-9 but was rescheduled due to unknown conditions discovered on site.
Please plan alternate routes, expect delays and drive with caution in the work area.
