The City is pleased to announce that the new washroom facility at Harris Road Park is now open. This new accessible facility aims to enhance the comfort and convenience of all park visitors. It includes the following features:
- 13 individual private gender-neutral stalls
- 3 standalone accessible washrooms
- A concession stand (expected to be in operation at a later date)
- A janitor storage
Background:
The replacement of the former washroom building at Harris Road Park was necessary due to the loss of the public washrooms within the former Athletic Building, in addition to the former washroom building reaching the end of its useful service life.
