Updated September 18, 2024 - Old Dewdney Trunk Road has fully reopened to traffic in both directions. Please note, there will be re-occurring single lane alternating traffic to allow for driveway paving and line painting starting Thursday, September 19 for approximately 1 week between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Updated September 10, 2024 - There will be single-lane and full road closures of a portion of Old Dewdney Trunk Road between Rippington Road and Harris Road from August 29 - September 20 for paving work.
- August 29 - September 20: Intermittent single-lane closures between 7:00am and 5:00pm
- September 12 - 18: Full 24-hour road closures. The road will be fully closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Residents will still be able to access their properties within the closure area. A detour will be in effect.
All businesses within the closure area will remain open and accessible during the paving word, including the full closure period. Customers are encouraged to access Amsterdam Nurseries from Harris Road and exit on Old Dewdney Trunk Road (see map #2 below).
Please note dates are tentative and weather dependant. Please follow all signage and traffic control personnel.
The work being completed is part of the 2024 Capital Works – Roadworks and Paving plan.
