October 1, 2026 – City of Pitt Meadows Operations crews responded to localized flooding on Rannie Road this morning after receiving a report of flooding from Sturgeon Slough.
Crews have made operational adjustments to the drainage system to help alleviate future flooding. The localized flooding has been resolved; however, water levels in Sturgeon Slough remain high.
The slough will be drained to appropriate levels by midday tomorrow (Friday). In the meantime, please use caution when travelling through the area.
