Join Mayor and Council at our Engagement & Priorities Committee meeting to hear the recommendations of the Police Services Review. 

On February 18, the findings of the review will be presented, along with recommendations on what the best model for policing services is for Pitt Meadows. Residents are invited to learn more, ask questions and provide comments.

Drop by City Hall  on Valentine's Day for the LOVE of TREES event between 9am-4pm. Our Green Leadership Team is giving away free trees to plant for Valentine's Day. There are many reasons we ❤️ trees. They provide many benefits including clean air and reducing the effects of climate change!

Agricultural Advisory Committee - Cancelled

The Agricultural Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on matters related to agriculture in the community which may include comprehensive reviews of agriculture-related policies, plans and development proposals using the City of Pitt Meadows Agriculture Plan and its Official Community Plan as a guide. 

The Agriculture Advisory Committee meets the 2nd Thursday of every month in the Meadows Room at City Hall (12007 Harris Rd.) at 10:00am; there are typically no meetings during July and August. 

Child Care Provider Open House

Share with us your thoughts and experience to inform the development of the Child Care Needs Assessment.

Engagement & Priorities Committee Meeting

This Committee structure utilizes an oversight committee which brings Council and the community together by facilitating two-way dialogue.  A structured meeting that provides an opportunity for committees to bring priority items before Council in a less traditional, rigid and formal Council setting.

Board of Variance

Board of Variance Focus

The board of variance focuses primarily on hardship relating to matters such as siting, dimensions and size of buildings.  A board of variance order cannot conflict with Land Title Act covenants or deal with matters in land use permits, land use contracts, floodplain bylaw specifications or phased development agreements.

Meetings

Meetings of the Board of Variance are open to the public and held as business needs arise.   

Meetings are held in the Meadows Room at City Hall, 12007 Harris Road.
