The Pitt Meadows Day Advisory Committee provides support to the City with the planning and execution of the annual Pitt Meadows Day event. This signature event provides an opportunity for residents to gather, connect and celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of our City.
This Committee structure utilizes an oversight committee which brings Council and the community together by facilitating two-way dialogue. A structured meeting that provides an opportunity for committees to bring priority items before Council in a less traditional, rigid and formal Council setting.

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on strategic priorities and policies relating to active transportation in Pitt Meadows.

The Agricultural Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on matters related to agriculture in the community which may include comprehensive reviews of agriculture-related policies, plans and development proposals using the City of Pitt Meadows Agriculture Plan and its Official Community Plan as a guide.
The Agriculture Advisory Committee meets the 2nd Thursday of every month in the Meadows Room at City Hall (12007 Harris Rd.) at 10:00am; there are typically no meetings during July and August.
April 8 Advisory Design Panel (ADP) Committee Meeting Deferred Until May 13
Please be advised that the Advisory Design Panel committee meeting scheduled for April 8 has been deferred until May 13, 2020 to allow the City to follow the orders and directives from the Provincial Health Officer of physical distancing in an effort to stop the spread of COVID-19. City staff are working to determine a new means of holding the ADP committee meeting in a manner that complies with the Provincial Health Officer’s orders.
Following direction from BC’s Chief Medical Health Officer to avoid any public gatherings of more than 50 people, the City has made the difficult to decision to close City facilities and to cancel events. The intention of these closures and cancellations are to ensure the safety of residents by limiting gatherings where social distancing can’t be controlled. We’ve developed a draft land use plan and policies that is based on extensive input from the public, stakeholders, and Council as part of the Official Community Plan Update. This plan will help guide future decisions about our community.
Residents are invited to review and learn more about the new plan at a number of public engagement events planned this spring.

The design, updated cost estimates and timelines for the new fire hall will be presented.

Rocks, Minerals,Gems,in natural form, polished and cut. Demonstrations of lapidary skils like carving, enameling, wire jewelry work. Auctions with 30 lots each day. Displays of many things that can be created at a lapidary club. Kids activities. 2 floors filled. Door prizes, a raffle, entry by donation. Lots of family Fun!
