City crews are actively monitoring drainage systems, river levels, dikes and pump stations. Pump stations are operating at full capacity.

Current Advisories
- A Flood Watch has been issued by the B.C. River Forecast Centre for Metro Vancouver, including Pitt Meadows. A Flood Watch means that river levels are rising and will approach or may exceed bankfull. Flooding of areas adjacent to affected rivers may occur.
Sandbags are available for pick-up
Out of an abundance of caution the City has made sand and sandbags available for pick-up at Harris Road Park for public use. Please Bring your own shovel. Location: Corner of 124 Avenue and 192A Street between Langley Farm Marketband Harris Road Park. (Google Map Link)
How Residents Can Prepare
- Clear leaves and debris from gutters and catch basins near your home.
- Be aware that water may pool on roads and in low-lying areas. Avoid walking, cycling or driving through flooded areas.
- Stay away from rivers, creeks, fast-moving water, and unstable banks. Keep children close and pets on leash near water and trails.
- Report downed trees, debris, or blocked storm drains at pittmeadows.ca/report.
