- Thunderstorms, some possibly strong
- Heavy downpours
- Strong wind gusts (up to 70 km/h)
- Small hail
Potential Hazards:
- Water pooling on roads
- Sudden reduction in visibility due to heavy rain
Additional information:
- The threat of thunderstorms will increase this afternoon as a warm front lifts across the area. After a brief break early this evening, a cold front will bring a widespread risk of heavy rain and thunderstorms to the south coast tonight, lasting into the overnight period.

Details:
- When: Sunday through Monday.
- Rain, at times heavy, is expected.
- A prolonged period of heavy rain and rising freezing levels will continue today (Sunday). The heaviest rainfall is expected today and tonight. Periods of rain will continue into Monday before tapering off in the evening.
- Rising freezing levels.
- Freezing levels will continue to rise Sunday and stay significantly elevated into the first half of this week.
- Total rainfall amounts 75 to 120 mm.
Be Prepared:
- Localized flooding in low-lying areas is possible.
- Watch for water pooling on roads.
- Please use caution, especially near waterways and low-lying areas.
- If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
- Possible washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
