October 19, 2024 – Due to heavy rain and flooding, Hammond Road, Albertan Street, and Airport Way near Southgate Road are closed. There is no access to the Golden Ears Bridge or Pitt Meadows via Hammond Road or Airport Way. Please plan to use alternate routes and expect some delays, as well as possible flooding in other areas.
These closures can be expected to extend into tomorrow. Please be cautious on all roads and sidewalks, and remember that these closures are in place for public safety. We kindly ask that you do not remove any barricades.
