New to the facility? Please see one of our facility representatives at Guest Services to assist you.  Our qualified staff members will be able to provide an explanation of services for the fitness centre, drop-in sports, and fitness classes.

About Chris

Chris has a variety of certifications and interests in the heath and wellness field. He melds together a background of 30+ years of martial arts, holistic nutrition, with an interest in training all ages and abilities.

1-on-1 Personal Training

Not sure how to start, but want some direction with your fitness goals? Meet with our trainer to review your history and explain your goals and we will help you develop a plan. All sessions are to be reserved and paid in advance and our trainer will call to confirm your schedule.

How to prepare for your personal training session?

  • Come prepared to workout
  • Bring clean running shoes
  • Wear clothing you're comfortable working out in
  • Bring a towel and water bottle

Other Fitness Options

Fitness Orientation with a Basic Workout Plan

Looking for how to start and/or organize your fitness goals? This 90 minute Fitness Orientation includes a review of your knowledge to our fitness centre, the machines and cardio equipment. Our BCRPA registered Personal Trainer will assess you and provide you with a basic workout plan to get you started. Please wear fitness shoes and clothing and be prepared to workout.

Dates and Time:

  • To be scheduled with Customer and Trainer
  • Trainer will call customer once the session is registered and paid for
  • 1 session - $78.75

Youth Access Pass - Fitness Centre

Youth between 13Y-15Y of age are eligible to use the Fitness Centre with a completed Youth Access Pass.  A parent or guardian signature is required on the application form.  Please reserve your spot for the Youth Access Orientation with staff at Guest Services.  For more information, or to book a group orientation, please contact 604.465.2452. 

External Trainers 

All external, independent trainers, (Personal Trainers, Therapists, Kinesiologist’s, etc.) who want to work with clients in the Pitt Meadows Family Recreation Centre must complete an External Trainer Application.  Provide all documentation electronically and receive approval prior to working out with clients in our facilities.
