The Engagement & Priorities Committee (EPC) is a committee of the whole of Council which meets several times a year to hear about important upcoming initiatives. Past EPC topics have included Golden Ears Business Park, the RCMP autonomous detachment, the City's Official Community Plan, and the Road and Rail Improvements Project. EPC meetings are designed to create space and time for members of the public to engage in two way dialogue with City Council on these important initiatives.

The Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee
The Parks, Recreation and Culture Advisory Committee was formed in 2021 to provide feedback and recommendations to staff on emerging community needs related to parks, recreation, and culture which work towards enhancing cultural diversity, inculusion, arts and sport tourism in the community for future consideration by Council.
The Pitt Meadows Day Advisory Committee provides support to the City with the planning and execution of the annual Pitt Meadows Day event. This signature event provides an opportunity for residents to gather, connect and celebrate the vibrancy and diversity of our City.
The Pitt Meadows Day Advisory Committee proposes to meeting monthly, however they will only proceed with meetings as business needs require.

Active Transportation Advisory Committee Focus
The Active Transportation Advisory Committee advises Council and City Staff on strategic priorities and policies relating to active transportation in Pitt Meadows using the Pedestrian and Cycling Master Plan as a guide.
Agricultural Advisory Comittee Focus
The Agricultural Advisory Committee advises Council and Staff on matters related to agriculture in the community which may include comprehensive reviews of agriculture-related policies, plans and development proposals using the City of Pitt Meadows Official Community Plan as a guide.
Advisory Design Panel Focus
The Advisory Design Panel provides advice and recommendations on development and design matters, taking into consideration the community's unique character and the City's Official Community Plan. The ADP considers and provides recommendations on other projects or applications as referred by Staff and/or Council and assists the City in the formulation of design policies and criteria including urban design guidelines, as required.

Community Support Select Committee
On September 22, 2020, Pitt Meadows Council established the Community Support Select Committee (the “Committee”) to provide a platform to strengthen relationships and share information between City Council and community organizations that provide support to Pitt Meadows citizens. The mandate of the Committee is to build relationships and enhance dialogue and information sharing between Council and community organizations that provide social services to Pitt Meadows residents.
