Katzie Slough Fall Riparian Planting

Join us in planting native plants & trees at Katzie Slough! 

Katzie Slough is an ecologically and culturally significant floodplain watershed.  Pump stations control water levels and restrict fish movement between the Fraser and Pitt Rivers & Katzie Slough.  

Help improve stream conditions by planting trees & shrubs adjacent to the Wildwood Trail network & Katzie Slough.  

For those of you who attended our Earth Day activities and fostered a plant, please bring your plant and leave your mark at this riparian event!

Culture Days is a collaborative, Canada-wide volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. In Pitt Meadows, we are celebrating with activities all day on Sunday, Sep­tember 30!

Details including agendas and minutes can also be found and downloaded for your convenience.

City Council meetings are held in the Council Chamber located at Pitt Meadows City Hall, 12007 Harris Road.

Airport Advisory Committee

The purpose of the committee is to obtain diverse views from the community and airport interests in airport matters affecting the community and vice versa.

Date: The committee intends to meet 6 times per year or as business needs arise.

Coffee is on the Mayor!

Mayor Becker will be at coffee shops and venues around town to provide opportunities for Pitt Meadows citizens to discuss issues that are important to them. Join the Mayor for a cup of coffee and a 5-10 minute one-on-one visit.

The cost of one basic cup of coffee is on the mayor, come on by!

Active Transportation Committee

The Active Transportation Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on strategic priorities and policies relating to active transportation in Pitt Meadows.

Agricultural Advisory Committee

The Agricultural Advisory Committee advises Council and staff on matters related to agriculture in the community which may include comprehensive reviews of agriculture-related policies, plans and development proposals using the City of Pitt Meadows Agriculture Plan and its Official Community Plan as a guide.
